What is a service agreement?
A service agreement is a written agreement (not a contract binding a customer to a time commitment) between Weigh-Rite Scale Co. and a valued customer.
The agreement includes a detailed list of the customers scale equipment and the frequency or intervals that the customer wants their equipment tested (every month, quarterly or bi-annually).
The agreement also includes a flat rate price for each test run, so you know what the cost to test your scales will be before we arrive.
Finally, the agreement includes an internal contact designated by the customer as the "In plant contact".
What will my service agreement include?
- Inspect and test each scale for accuracy
- Make field adjustments as provided by the manufacturer for maintaining the scales within the maintenance tolerance.
- Instruct your employees and advise you relative to proper operation of your equipment.
- We furnish sufficient certified test weights to conduct a proper test.
- We furnish a complete written report on the condition and accuracy of each scale covered by this service agreement.
- With proper approval we will provide single page, sequentially numbered, inspection and calibration certificates for each scale. The certificates satisfy the documentation needs of our ISO 9000 registered customers. You may also receive a 3.5" floppy disk with all the same test result information.
- We provide a state licensed and certified scale technician to perform the services listed above.

- When you need repairs you will receive a 20% discount off our normal labor rate.
- Access to our 24 hour, 7 days a week service (premium rates apply to after hour service).
- We guarantee same day or next day service to service agreement customers.
- Access to the password protected service agreement customers area of our website. This includes discount pricing on all sorts of new equipment, Service tips for your maintenance personnel and discounts on selected replacement parts.
- Your service needs will be put into our computer system and we will be notified weeks in advance. We will call you to schedule your service agreement run, 1 less thing for your maintenance department to worry about.

How do I become a service agreement customer?
Please contact us by phone, fax, or e-mail us to schedule a time for one of our representatives to tour your facility and make a comprehensive list of the scale equipment you want tested.
When this step is completed we will assist you in determining the frequency of testing and quote you a flat rate price for each test.
